Spiritual Direction and Programs
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is intentional, personal time for exploring who you are spiritually. The invitation offers space to contemplate and discover what you believe, who you are, and who you are called to be. Spiritual direction holds opportunity to understand, honor, and deepen relationships—with yourself, your spirituality, the world, and your sense of the Divine.
In spiritual direction, there is opportunity for noticing... What bubbles up inside of you in response to life? What calls to you? Where do you feel nudges? A presence?

Spiritual direction holds an invitation to the possibility of listening and hearing in new ways: listening for meaningful silence, waiting to hear what the silence holds; listening to hear what the experience of each day wants to say or for messages that whisper from within times of joy, challenge, change... For some, there is listening for God. Some listen for Spirit, and others listen for that which they have not yet named. The journey of spiritual direction holds the opportunity to find words for what might have begun as a feeling...a stirring...an empty space...silence...
As you explore, contemplate, discover, and listen, there is someone to journey with you. A spiritual director has discerned a call, studied, practiced, and makes a covenant with each individual to accompany, listen, and thoughtfully question.
Conversations in spiritual direction are honored with confidentiality, and meetings typically happen monthly but frequency is planned together.
